Choose between ten individual bungalows and villas scattered throughout the forest, each characterised by cement floors and glass doors contrasted with timber walls and thatched roofs. Internal décor includes local artwork and furniture crafted by local villagers. All rooms have electricity and complete washroom facilities including a solar-powered hot-water shower.

In addition to an open-sided restaurant-bar serving Western dishes and Sri Lankan rice and curry, Gal Oya Lodge has a swimming pool, library, butterfly garden and an organic vegetable patch.
