Malabar Hill

Malabar Hill is a unique property in Sri Lanka. The hotel design is a blend of Mughal architecture and contemporary elegance, decorated with Rajasthani-style furniture and intricate flourishes. Beyond the building are the pretty tree-covered hills that roll down to the southern beach town Weligama.

In the restaurant, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes meet Sri Lanka’s culinary heritage, while the ornate bar is dedicated to providing sensational views from hill to ocean. Yoga on the lawn is rewarding, as is swimming in the saltwater pool and exploring the estate on foot. Guests can also relax in the spa.

The 14 villas are loosely grouped around the main building, each with a spectacular view and considerable privacy. The Mediterranean-inspired interiors work perfectly with the Mughal exterior, giving way to a private rooftop terrace with small infinity pool.
